d80 and k5

finally made up my mind to get d80, battery is still charging, can't wait to put my hand on it. wishing someone will get me a new strap from japan as i don't like the yellowish strap which comes with the camera . haha...

in regard to that mp3 player, attracted by it design and the price (on sale), it wasn't in my plan but picked it up anyways. it may eventually becomes my mom's toy.

homemade crab cakes

ingredients:

• 1 cup crabmeat
• 1 cup chopped sweet peppers and corn
• 1 whole egg
• 2 tablespoon parsley
• 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1/2 cup crushed crackers
• 1/4 cup olive oil
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• salt and ground black pepper to taste


• 1 cup dry bread crumbs

directions:

1. combine all ingredients, form into 1/2 inch thick patties, coat with bread crumbs.
2. heat oil in a skillet over medium high heat, cook until golden brown on each side.
