ashlee, it's blue purple, i'm satisfied with this color (i used 30% alkanet root evoo this time). yup.. if you want to make it looks very purple, just add more alkanet root evoo. i guess you should use 50-70%, of course it also depends on how many alkanet roots did you add in the evoo. when will you start? ^^
Lately, I've been confused by the english name of 紫草根 and hope ypu can help me. I've searched some informations. Some websites say that alkanet is 朱草 while gromwell is 紫草. And, some people call 紫草 as comfrey. As different herbs has different effect, I don't wanna mix up their name. So confusing!!

香港和台灣也稱它為紫草,在藥材鋪有售,應該大約數元就有一兩。
